Campground Overview
Jacques Cartier State Park's is popular for it's extensive boating opportunities and excellent fishing. The park's sheltered bay protects its sandy swimming beach and camper's dock. Large, open lawns encourage games and picnics; a playground and another forested picnic ground are also nearby. 16 of the campgrounds 92 campsites are located directly on the shore of the St Lawrence. Most sites however at least have a view of the St Lawrence, and the freighters that pass by.
