Campground Overview
Limekiln Lake is known to be a great family camping spot, with campsites in the forest and activities ranging from boating and fishing to hiking and swimming. The park is also close to many area attractions.
Limekiln Lake Campground is locate in the Adirondacks just outside Old Forge.
Limekiln offers 270 campsites, of which 43 are directly on the water.
Motor boats, rowboats, and canoes are allowed, for boating or fishing; rowboat and canoe rentals are available. A wide variety of fish, including yellow perch, bullhead, blue gill, and splake inhabit in the lake.
