First off, these pics are OLD and seriously don't give this site the justice it deserves... In my opinion, it is an absolutely fabulous site! Again, in my opinion, better than site 1 that everyone raves about! [myself included] It is a smaller site. We have a 16' A liner which fit quite nicely on this spot, along with a tent for our grandson and friend. Even though it shares a single drive with site 1, it is secluded from the road and other campsites as well as from site 1. The trees have grown up and out beautifully and putting all of it together, you kind of forget you're in a campground.... The fire pit is close to the rocks and water so not only can you enjoy the fire, you get to watch the amazing ships going through, watch [and hear] the loons and easily launch your kayaks off in to the water. Our first night here we were had several "visitors". The 1st being a very fat bunny, the 2nd: the biggest weasel we have ever seen and we were even able to at least video the sound of young owls out hunting!! It was awesome! The weather has been perfect all of our days here. We are happy to say that the chubby bunny was still entertaining us as we packed to leave. Hope if you camp here, you find it as enjoyable as we did......😊
